Dale Mayerson spent her first 20 years of working life as a food service supervisor and manager in health care. She returned to school and graduated as a dietitian in She has worked in long term care and rehabilitation hospitals in administrative and clinical roles, and enjoys working with seniors.
He has worked for more than 10 years in long term care and acute care in different food service administration and clinical nutrition management positions. Gabriella graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honours B. Married with three adult children, she has worked in hospitals in Toronto, Grimsby and Hamilton; as well as several long-term care facilities. Gabriella is a long-time member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management, and been an active educational consultant for many years for the Canadian Health Care Association.
Marianne has worked in the healthcare food service for 30 years in various roles. With over two decades of progressive management experience in both Canada and the Middle East, Michael has gained a strong understanding of both the long term care sector and how to relate current business management practises to the industry. Michael has strong ties to the long term care food service industry; he has been a board member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management CSNMsits on the advisory committees for the food and nutrition management programs at both HealthCare CAN and George Brown College, and is very involved in taking students on placements from various programs.
My journey towards becoming a Registered Dietitian began with completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in the Food and Nutrition program at Ryerson University, followed by the dietetic internship program at the London Health Sciences Centre. My passion for gerontology led me to work in the long-term care sector as a Consulting Dietitian over the past four years.
In addition to this role, I have always enjoyed teaching and provided training to many dietetic interns as well as new Dietitians in long-term care homes. I have also developed and facilitated group educational sessions in community programs such as the Moving Forward Program and the Newcomers Cooking Together Program in the past.
I am currently pursuing my Master of Public Health degree and aspire to work as a Public Health Nutritionist in the future. Later she redirected her passion for food into health care, completing a Nutrition Certificate program at GBC.
